DeeDee Butters is a powerhouse performer. Showcasing a flexible and expressive 3-octave high-soprano range, she effortlessly shifts between delicate soft textures and detailed R&B and Soul riffs.  A natural frontman, DeeDee entertains the crowd, drawing them in with witty banter and her unapologetic brand of humour. 

DeeDee Butters frequently designs for and sings with the critically acclaimed 9-member band The PepTides, as well as regularly playing with La Voix Season 7 runner up Rebecca Noelle, The Cooper Brothers, The Commotions, Destiny, and several others.

She draws influence from a varied range of artists: Aretha Franklin, Thelma Houston, Bjork, Stevie Wonder, George Benson, Lauryn Hill, Sheryl Crow, and many others. DeeDee believes in connecting with the audience from a place of authentic experience and humour.
